Hello to all VTA users and friends of my blog.  :)

Well, I am now in Sun City, AZ.  Just a few miles from Phoenix, and excited about the next week.
First, I want to thank the folks at Wells Country Store for the wonderful pizza, and the convo.

Stephanie was especially wonderful.  We chatted outside, (rather I chatted her ear off) for about 15 minutes as I explained what my trip was about.  She took a picture of me holding my sign.

Yes, I have been collecting aluminum cans from Yuma to here in Sun City.  That is another way to make some money on the trip.  (I dont like asking people for money, so since I go and volunteer my time in each city I arrive in, there is always a way to earn money.)

In Phoenix tomorrow, and will be there for 4 days.  I wanted to spend a week, but my time is limited due to the cart breaking down.

Here are some more pics from Wickenburg, to Sun City...

The pedestrian walkway across the Hassayampa River, and some history of Wickenburg on a board next to the river.  Hassayampa means “following the water as far as it goes.”  It is also known as the river that runs upside down.  This is because most of it runs underground.

I do not know what made this flowering plant so special, but when I passed by it, the ENTIRE thing was covered with bees, wasps, a few butterflies, and flies.  It was the only plant as far as I could see, and I guess the bugs REALLY liked it...
The couple here gave me a huge bag of cans, and also helped me to get on my way again.  :)

This is the site of Tiki Rick.  He is listed in the book, "Weird Arizona".  This is just outside Wickenburg.

My cart at the Wishing Well Park.  This is about 2 hours before my cart got full of cans.

My new friend Josh.  He was very nice to listen to my VirtaCoin speech.  Thanks bro, and the sandwich was awesome!  (y)

That was it.  Wickenburg to Sun City is 40 miles.

Phoenix is just a few miles away, and finally I am here!  :)
